[Unveiling Full Details] YOHO Brewing Osaka Brewery YONA YONA BEERISE Opening on Thursday, July 23

[Unveiling Full Details] YOHO Brewing Osaka Brewery YONA YONA BEERISE Opening on Thursday, July 23

YOHO BREWING (President & CEO: Naoyuki Ide) will open its new brewery, YOHO Brewing Osaka Brewery "YONA YONA BEERISE," on Thursday, July 23, 2026. The project was brought to life utilizing the "Furusato Nozei" (Hometown Tax) system by Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture. The brewery's concept is "Peaceful Surprises with Beer!" It is an experiential brewery designed to offer a new kind of "beer entertainment" through the world of craft beer.

Delivering Surprises Through Craft Beer

Far from being just a traditional manufacturing plant, YONA YONA BEERISE is an experiential brewery that brings our concept of "Peaceful Surprises with Beer!" to life, offering a new kind of beer entertainment.
Guests can do more than simply savor the unique flavors and aromas of our craft beers; we offer various programs to explore the profound world of brewing, as well as relaxing spaces to simply unwind with a drink in hand. Furthermore, with interactive content such as games and special events, the facility is carefully designed to let visitors fully experience the diverse craft beer from several angles.

"KURADASHI TAP": Self-Pour Beer Delivered Directly from the Brewing Area

As you enter the brewery, the first thing to catch your eye is the "KURADASHI TAP," featuring a lineup of five serving tanks directly linked to the brewing area. Fresh beer is delivered to the taproom directly via pipes. Guests can experience the fun of pouring their own beer into their glasses from these special taps. During the grand opening period, we plan to offer an unfiltered version*  of our flagship "Yona Yona Ale."
* Unfiltered beer is made by skipping the final "filtration" step of the brewing process. While filtration is typically used to clarify the beer and remove yeast and other particles, intentionally bypassing this step allows the beer to retain its raw, authentic flavor and rich character.

"YORIDORI TAP": Featuring a Selection of Up to 14 Various Craft Beers

The taproom will feature a diverse lineup of YOHO Brewing's craft beers. Guests can enjoy tasting up to 14 unique varieties on tap, ranging from our beloved standard beers to exclusive, area-limited releases.
To complement the brews, we plan to offer casual, hand-held snacks designed to pair with our craft beer. We will also have non-alcoholic options, ensuring a welcoming experience for everyone.

A Taproom Space Immersed in Large-Scale Art and the Brewing Area

Flowing from the taproom into the brewing area, large-scale wall art brings YOHO BREWING’s mission—"Flavor in Beer! Happiness in Life!"—to visitors. The artwork vividly illustrates a peaceful world where diverse people and creatures relax and enjoy beer in their own ways. Furthermore, a glass partition separates the taproom from the brewing area, offering guests a front-row seat to watch the brewers at work while they savor their beer and food.

"PUHHA GARDEN": A Versatile Outdoor Space for Every Style

The building's front facade features a massive "Yona Yona Ale" design. From the central deck, guests can take playful trick-photos that make it look as if they are taking a sip of the giant Yona Yona Ale.
Outside, the "Puhha Garden" is designed as an area offering diverse ways to unwind. Whether relaxing on the lawn, sitting surrounded by fragrant herbs, or enjoying an area inspired by golden ears of barley (the key ingredient for malt), there is a perfect spot for everyone—families, friends, and solo visitors alike—to enjoy their craft beer.
To top it off, visitors can enjoy outdoor activities like "Cornhole*⁵," a popular game in the American craft beer scene. We also plan to host food trucks on weekends to serve up delicious eats.

"Brewing is Art & Science": Exploring Craft Beer Through Multiple Perspectives

At the heart of our craft beer philosophy at YOHO BREWING is the belief that “brewing is Art and Science.” We believe that the creation of craft beer is born from two essential elements: the brewer's curiosity and inspiration—the "Art"—and a precise, analytical approach—the "Science."

This dedicated exhibition area explores these dual elements of Art and Science from various perspectives. Visitors can discover different beer styles, examine unique brewing ingredients, and browse a curated selection of books. Designed to stimulate your intellectual curiosity, this space allows you to fully immerse yourself in the profound and fascinating world of craft beer.

"BEER LOG CAN": Craft Your Own Original Can

In this activity, guests can freely decorate a limited YONA YONA BEERISE labels, attach it to an empty can, and seal it themselves using an authentic "can seamer"—the very same equipment used in our actual brewing process. You can take your personalized, finished can straight home with you.

Beyond the activities mentioned above, we offer a variety of exclusive experiences that can only be found at YONA YONA BEERISE. These include unique photo spots and games to enjoy with a beer in hand. Guests can also visit the "4747SHOP," our gift shop offering original merchandise, including exclusive Kansai-region items.

Aiming for Regional Revitalization through Craft Beer

"Yona Yona Beerise" aims to energize the craft beer market in the Kansai region by introducing not only beer lovers, but also locally and across Japan, to the diverse and distinct appeal of craft beer.
The project originally launched in September, utilizingFurusato Nozei  system. The business plan was finalized in January 2022, followed by the start of construction in January 2025. With building completion achieved in December 2025, the facility is now ready for its grand opening on July 23, 2026. The brewery targets an annual attendance of approximately 70,000 visitors, drawing guests from both inside and outside Osaka Prefecture.
Furthermore, aiming for regional revitalization through craft beer, YOHO Brewing has already begun utilizing the surrounding areas and collaborating with local businesses. On Thursday, June 18, 2026, to foster the further development of Izumisano's Rinku area, we partnered with 16 local organizations to formulate a city-approved "Town Planning Vision Map." Following the grand opening, we will continue to drive events and initiatives dedicated to community revitalization.

Utilization as a MICE Facility

Capitalizing on its access to the airport, the brewery has been officially registered as a MICE facility with the Izumisano City Promotion Council (commonly known as ICP). By attracting domestic and international business travelers and providing a space for new networking and innovation, YOHO Brewing is exploring further initiatives to revitalize the Izumisano area from a business perspective.
